No questions about the fact that Black Lives Matter!
However, I can't help but wonder why do we as a people have to wait until a life is lost before we take a stand! As a Black Man made in America I've witness all types of racism, I've been called a nigger more times than I care to keep up with. I used act on the word and fighting was my number one response. Life in all forms matter no doubting that, but we as Black people are being slaughtered just because of our beautiful skin and the way we are beautifully created!
We face death on many fronts, I asked why do we have to wait on a life lost before we take a stands, due to many of us are facing death daily, either by the system, streets, or police! Some try to justify the treatment due to us killing each other. I have to say to all who feel this way, that no matter how it's being done it's never alright to take a life. For the ones who say this or agree with it, are you also in agreement with the fact that it's open hunting season on all manner of life?
Being that we all are one and the same, each killing effect us all! We have to do better and stand up no matter what! Is it a difference between death? What's the difference from some one dying by the hands of the police in the streets and some one dying by being wrongfully convicted on murder charges just because they are Black and don't have millions of dollars to pay lawyers to fight for them or the means to buy law books. As for the prices on the law books, well take a look at citebook.com and check out some of them prices and imagine paying these prices while being locked up and not able to work!
The deck is stacked from the jump! Fighting for your breathe in the court system while having a mental knee on your throat is still hard to breathe! Even when locked in a cell it's hard to breathe! We all need help and the voice of the people so, I ask don't wait until my death before you take a stand, stand up for me now because I'm crying out for your help now! I love what I'm seeing and it's such a beautiful sight to see the protests! I just hope that it doesn't stop with that or that it only matter when we die! Stay strong and be safe..
